Description:
This
presentation will look at the importance of listening skills when communicating
in the workplace. It examines the
process of listening as a skill that allows one to make sense of and understand
what another person is saying. This
session discusses barriers to listening and various types of listening. It also
presents ways to enhance our ability to employ these types of listening in the
workplace with co-workers, patients, clients, and managers.
