It is the basis for prescribing, administering, and using medications appropriately and safely. Introduction to Pharmacology for Allied Health Professionals examines the purpose of medications and drug classifications and regulations for controlled substances. This course also describes prescriptions, routes of medication administration, and safe medication administration.
