Description:

In this course, you will learn that genetic testing has come a long way in diagnosing Myeloid Malignancies.  This presentation will provide an overview of the different genetic assays that are available to assist with the diagnosis and how it can relate to other laboratory tests.

 

Learning Objectives:

  • Define myeloid disorders.
  • Outline the classifications for myeloid neoplasms, as defined by the World Health Organization (WHO).
  • Discuss genetic features of myeloid disorders and processes for identifying genetic mutations.
