Description:
This
program will discuss with global travel comes the possibility of
"global" malaria; therefore, rapid and accurate diagnosis of malaria
is critical for implementation of appropriate treatment to reduce associated
morbidity and mortality.

the history and epidemiology of Malaria.
- Describe
CDC recommendations and regulations for tracking infectious diseases globally,
such as Malaria.
- Outline
specific laboratory tests used to diagnose Malaria, and pros and cons of each
test.
