Description:

This article focuses on an 18-year-old woman presenting to the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Emergency Department (ED). She presented a gingival abscess and was admitted for a short two-day stay. Learners are encouraged to read the case study to determine the cause of the patient's symptoms.
