Description:

Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disease passed on through a defect in chromosome 7 from carrier parents to their unborn child. This article will introduce the basics of cystic fibrosis (CF), a variety of mutations within the defect, discuss testing for the disease through Sweat Test versus genetic testing, and modes of treatments and therapies.
