STEP 359: Case 17: Critical Case of Community Acquired Pneumonia (CE: 1.5)


Description:

This article focuses on a 16-year-old presenting to the emergency room with a mild cough, myalgias, headache, and low-grade fever. A chest x-ray was performed and no irregularities were noted. The patients' symptoms quickly deteriorated.  Learners are encouraged to read the case study to determine the cause of the patient's symptoms.
